Muskegon Montessori Academy of Environmental Change is a tuition-free public school. The Academy is located at 2950 McCracken Street in Muskegon, and serves students in grades PreK – 8.
The mission of Muskegon Montessori Academy for Environmental Change (MMAEC) is to prepare students to be academically and environmentally excellent for sustained success in a global economy. The Academy will sharpen critical thinking skills of its students through learning that remains relevant, active, environmentally focused, and globally mindful.
The vision of MMAEC is to enhance student health and learning while conserving natural resources and empowering students to develop sustainable behaviors, enabling them to become stewards of the future.
The Academy’s Educational Goals are as follows:
School Day Hours
The school day starts at 8:30am and ends at 3:30pm.
Drop-off: Begins at 8:15 a.m.
Parents will enter via the south driveway on McCracken and circle around to the main entrance. A staff member will greet your child(ren) and release them from the vehicle. Parents will exit via the north driveway. Any student that arrives after 8:30 a.m. will need to be walked into the building and will be considered tardy.
Pick-up: Same procedure as drop-off.
