At MMAEC, we are a Pk-8 school community that uses the proven effectiveness of the Montessori education model to teach a broad spectrum of students, successfully nurturing each child on their journey towards knowledge. There are multi-age classrooms that help stimulate personal growth and responsibility. Teachers follow the child through the use of the Montessori methods and curriculum is created that best encourages each student’s learning style and individual talents.
The entire Muskegon Montessori community including teachers, students and parents are a vital part of our students’ education experience. We work together so that the result will be a graduate who has confidence, a learned education that surpasses expectations and someone who respects others.
We serve a diverse group of about 165 students in grades preschool through eighth-grade. Our support staff includes over 25 teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, food service workers and administrative staff who all work with students to achieve great results.
We are indeed a passionate and caring community with common goals of achieving high academic standards, providing a safe community and building character to prepare kids for active, thoughtful and caring participation in the world around them.
Thank you for entrusting your student with us. We are excited about the journey that we are going to embark on together.
