CAMP: Geoscience Education (Grades K-3)

Your child will become a rock detective. We will be solving the many different mysteries of rocks, fossils, and mineral specimens. This hands-on learning camp will stimulate their curiosity and lead them towards discovery!

Day Camp- Survival Skills: Nature Awareness

July 18th-21st

Grades: 4-8

Time: 12-3pm

Survival Skills: Nature Awareness

Your environmental explorer will gain nature awareness through this survival skills camp. They will learn how our ancestors lived off the land and how we can live off the land without leaving an ecological footprint. They will learn how to orienteer their way through the land and so much more!

Day Camp- Gardening: Living Off the Land

July 11th-14th

Grades: K-3

Time: 9-11am

Gardening: Living Off the Land

Your science scholar will be gardening in our new greenhouse and gardens! We will learn how to prepare the soil and look at the different plant species that will grow best in this environment. We will plant and water seeds and observe the growth of our plants. We depend on what the Earth provides but it can be hard to see the connection with modern inventions like groceries stores and restaurants. During this camp we will learn how to use our environment to obtain the things we need.
